Our lab has been selected for NASA Space Biology funding

We are pleased to share that NASA has selected our project, “Probing Pathogenic Mutations Under Spaceflight-Relevant Stressors Via All-Atom Molecular Dynamics Simulations,” led by Mert Gur at the University of Pittsburgh, for Space Biology funding.

The project will use all-atom molecular dynamics simulations to investigate how spaceflight-relevant stressors affect proteins carrying pathogenic mutations. It is one of six precision-health investigations announced by NASA to advance understanding of how conditions associated with space exploration affect human health.
